Joe has submitted two paintings to the show "The Best of PSI". The exhibit is going to be
part of the "Art on the Rox" event, which takes place in October in McKees Rocks, PA.

Joe Winkler is a Western Pennsylvania-based oil painter whose style can be classified as painterly realism.
The subjects he enjoys painting include still life and landscape, but whatever his subject matter is, he
follows the traditional principals of good composition, accurate drawing, and ability to render form.
Joe is a member of various regional artist groups such as The Pittsburgh Society of Artists, The Pittsburgh
Society of Illustrators, and The Upper St. Clair League for the Arts. His work has been in both juried exhibits
and one-man shows throughout the tri-state area including John Stobart's Three Rivers gallery, Louis Guinn
gallery, and the Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh's historic strip district.
As with most oil painters, Joe is influenced by the work of many great artists. A list of painters from history
